So I was doing one survey site and I made $10 dollars its charges u 0.45 an hour to surf the web but one day I logged in and it would let me in and it said my secret question was wong?!?! wth. ive signed up with some other site but I havent made enough to cash out yet. At the end of a working day you would make exactly 16 bucks somehow that is just not worth it to me since most people have such precious little time, the last thing they want to do is answer questions about what lotions they use and how often they use them in any given week....i know I did not like it.
I was even a bit annoyed with my friend for sending that crap to me and making it seem like the survey was going to take five minutes

I suggest opening up a completely separate email account just for surveys, it will save you a big headache in the end. I get lots of money and gift cards all the time but surveys take time, I usually take about an hour out of my day, everyday, to do surveys.

What are legitimate survey sites to make money?
Survey's are not what you think. They require a lot of time, and you won't make what they claim you will. A couple of my friends did a six month test on several different survey sites like Survey Savvy, Harris Poll, Greenfield, Opinion Outpost, Survey Sport, Buzzback, NPD online, Lightspeed Panel, African American, Your2Cents, Project Payday, Inboxdollar, SnapDollars,Send Earnings, Creation, mycoke rewards, E-poll etc. Each did some the same sites and some different sites. Totaling at least 15 - 20 a piece. They're not what people say they are. Yes they are easy to do and you can receive money and prizes, compensating you for your time and effort. So they're not a scam. They're very time consuming though. When you add the time together, It's more time then you think! If you do decide to get into surveying, you better plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and make minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is amount, the calculations of the time involved, and what you got paid in these "higher" paying surveys, still only averages out to minimum wage. It's a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn't seem to be as long as it really is. But we did the documentation's and figured the time vs money factor. We found that there was more time with little money to be made.
Here's how the survey's work. You spend approximately 10 to 15 minutes per each site to register and set up a profile to qualify for surveys. (this is non paid). Partner up with a company that gives you monthly earnings from services that you put people on either by in person, phone or from your web site. What I mean is for instance, my husband partnered up with a telecommunications service provider and all the cellular phone companies. Someone purchase a cell phone from our web site, or a land line or Internet service or whatever, the product it'self your able to provide at a whole sale cost as a distributer through the providers. When someone gets on the services, the company pays you a percentage of that person's billing every single month, month after month for the referal from you by word of mouth or by your web site.Once you decide on a product or products and services, you need to start driving "traffic" to your web site. A lot of work but well worth the effort when your income starts going and rapidly increases. The most effective way I've found is simply word of mouth and referrals. We've had our business for over six years and this has been the most effective way. Loyal customers bring in more customers by the way you treat them, the quality of the items you have and the timely matter of the service you provide.

You don't even have to COMPLETE the survey, You just have to finish it to the point where it asks you to confirm your e-mail.
Even then, just make a fake email that you actually have to check, but just to confirm e-mails so you don't get spam in your real e-mail.
You can make as much as you want, basically just depends on how much time you have.

Out of every block of 200 posts I made, I got back 5 responses. Yes, that’s right, only 5. You make $5.00 in cash, not checks or money orders, but real cash with your name at #5.
Each additional person who sent you $1.00 now also makes 200 additional postings with your name at #4, 1000 postings. On average then, 50 people will send you $1.00 with your name at #4,....$50.00 in your pocket!

Totaling at least 15 - 20 a piece. They're not what people say they are. Yes they are easy to do and you can receive money and prizes, compensating you for your time and effort. So they're not a scam. They're very time consuming though. When you add the time together, It's more time then you think! If you do decide to get into surveying, you better plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and make minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is amount, the calculations of the time involved, and what you got paid in these "higher" paying surveys, still only averages out to minimum wage. It's a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn't seem to be as long as it really is. But we did the documentation's and figured the time vs money factor. We found that there was more time with little money to be made.

At first only a few hundred dollars, then a week later, a couple of thousand , then BOOM . By the end of the fourth week , I had received nearly $47,000.00. It came from all over the world. And every bit of it perfectly legal and on the up and up. I've been able to pay off all my bills and still had enough left over for a nice vacation for me and my family.

STEP 4.
You are now in business for yourself, and should start seeing returns within 7 to 14 days! Remember, the internet is new and huge. There is no way you can lose.
Now here is how and why this system works:
Out of every block of 200 posts I made, I got back 5 responses. Yes, that’s right, only 5. You make $5.00 in cash, not checks or money orders, but real cash with your name at #5.
Each additional person who sent you $1.00 now also makes 200 additional postings with your name at #4, 1000 postings. On average then, 50 people will send you $1.00 with your name at #4,....$50.00 in your pocket!

I can recommend the website that I use. It is free so you don't have to worry about paying for anything. And do not expect too much. You could earn a couple of hundreds a month, but I doubt you will ever be able to earn one thousand a month.

I am disabled. I would love to be able to earn a bit of money working on my computer. Does anyone know of any Canadian survey groups that pay cash only. No sweepstakes etc... How can i make some extra cash from home?
I've heard about all these ways you can make money from home and i've even tried it, but it dosent seem to be working the way it is for other people. for example i tried the whole online survey thing...signed up with lots of different websites....but i just dont see how people are making anywhere from 400-1,000 extra bucks a month with these website? For every person you refer, you get 20% of what they earn on 2 of these sites. And for every person that one of your referrals refer, you get 10% on one site and 5% on the other. In time--this could be a great source of income--making money while other people are in a sense, working for you.
If you get 5 referrals who earn $20 a month, that is an extra $20 in your pocket. If you get 100 referrals earning $20 a month, that is an extra $400 you'll earn every month!!!

In all the companies I've gone through, only two have really been worth the effort since they actually pay.
Mysurvey.com pays in increments of $10 for every 1000 points you earn on their site by completing surveys. Their surveys usually give you quite a few points, so getting money from them is pretty easy.
The other site I go to, Globaltestmarket.com pays in increments of $50 for every 1000 points. However, their point system is harder to earn. It normally takes me about two months to earn those $50 and usually another two weeks for it to arrive.
I have another survey site that's relatively good, but it doesn't pay straight out money, instead it gives you points for prizes, and I don't think that's what you're interested in.
But back to your question. Besides those two survey sites, I haven't found any other decent places. And chances are, you won't find any legit sites to make extra cash. Especially not in the amounts they tell you that you'll get. My best advice would be to do some chores that no one wants to do and charge them for it to get extra cash.

DONT sign up for the 'pay per click' sites, youll get spammed like crazy.

Reply:You could try a pretty new site that pays you for using a search engine. It's so new that there isn't much in the way of proof that they pay, but so far the projected earnings seem pretty profitable.
The next pay period for the program is April 15 so we should know if they pay or not after that date.

Reply:Ditto on Panda Research. It is a scam. Says they pay for surveys but they really only pay for you to sign up for offers after you take the surveys (and even if you do sign up for the offers I've heard it's tricky getting them to pay--I didn't go that far).
There are good legitimate sites out there that pay moderate but reasonable amounts per survey (usually around $1-5). I've listed most of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or received other rewards like gift cards or CD'S) on the following webpage:

I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc. (And yes, if I say they have an affiliate program, I'm part of it, and make a commission when someone signs up through that link...I like to be up front about that).
As you're searching, here are some tips to avoid scams. Don't sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like "get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS" if you don't want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid.
Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can't be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That's what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not aggregated) to third parties (unless you really don't mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam).
Also, never sign up for a survey through an unsolicited e-mail--since these might not even be from the site they claim to be, but could be a phishing scheme to get your information and mis-use it. And never give your credit card info--there is no good reason a legitimate free site would need it.
