I prefer to pay in cash. i find paying with plastic, is annoying and time consuming.

Reply:I pay with cash. I'm 65 yrs .old and never had a credit card.If you pay cash you will be rich like me someday. Never bought anything on time. Even houses ans cars. Paid up front. No interest to pay that way. My money is mine and I share it with who I want, not those credit card bottom feeders

I save up all of the spare change and $1 bills from purchases to go into the "rainy day" fund. In just a few months of doing this, I've saved up $200. Not much, but it's something.

Reply:Usually either cash or check, but sometimes a debit card. Never wanted a credit card, too easy to get farther in debt.
Reply:Cash. I'd rather not have a surprise bill at the end of the month. Also, I can keep track of how much I spend so much easier, since I can actually see the money go.

Reply:I try to use cash to put the banks out of business of robbing us consumers, but pay for huge things with prepaid cash cards so I don't put my kids life at risk by carrying huge quantities at once around with us.
Reply:Plastic so I can get the reward points. In this day and age you have to maximise your purchase power. :)
