Survey:whould you go to work at the weekend just to earn extra cash?
I'm retired now but when half of a young married couple I worked at any time to get extra cash. Six weekends working on a railway Viaduct at Scunthorpe in appalling weather paid for a washing machine. Regular Sundays covered our holiday. and working solid over christmas weekend bought me a motorbike allowing us to jaunt around Notts at our leisure........................
Reply:Used to work for my college on Sundays. I made phone calls to alumni to raise money. We had to be there by 11am. It was nauseating at first then I got used to it. Lame co-workers though, so that's always unenjoyable.
Reply:I happily do it all of the time. The movie "Office Space" makes it look as if it puts such a damper on your day but it really isn't the case for me.
Reply:Maybe. But I did do that and going a year without a single day of you start to lose it. And I might have to do it again.
