Are sites that offer cash for taking surveys legit?

I've been seeing a lot of sites that say you get paid for taking surveys. Some one them seem kind of shady, has anyone had any experience with them or heard about them?

Yes they are but beware that anything that can be exploited in life can be made into a scam. These paid surveys i have been using for many years and i trust them. Reply:A lot of them are scams, so be really careful. A real market research survey company will never ever charge you a dime.
