not familiar with "mylot" but I have been making money from surveys for a while now, in fact I found a link that help me find some good paying sites from another answerer on Yahoo,

Reply:Don't know for sure but they sound dodgy.
Reply:Big buisness does not become that way by giving money away. There is no pill that lets you eat like a cow %26amp; not gain weight. No cream that makes a womens breast bigger or that certain part of a mans body. You will not quit smoking if you chew a gum. Every body wants something for nothing %26amp; life just does not work that way. You may find websites that will truly toss people a few bucks for doing A LOT of work. But they are in it to make money for them, not for you.
Reply:pass on those .............and don't look back
Reply:I don't know about My Lot, but most survey sites gather market information for companies (sometimes they gather political information too...I've got a few paid surveys like that). They want to do a little research to find out if a certain product will sell, or if their advertising is working, or things like that...and will pay a little to find out...usually $1-5 per survey, sometimes up to $15, rarely more than that.

The following site has reviews of a lot of the better sites I've taken surveys with.

And I have tips on avoiding scams here:

Reply:Total scams...don't even open email about then. They will ask for a credit card an try and sell you crap. Stay away from them.
